The following is an overview of the offset printing, duplicating, and high-speed copying services and capabilities of Uniprint. Please contact us with any questions or to inquire about a service not listed here.

Our coordinators will work with you to understand your needs so that your project looks its very best. Estimates can be done at any time. We will personally assist in the coordination of all aspects of your project. Also there is free pick-up and delivery to any campus location. Uniprint will arrange bulk shipping of your pieces either through USPS or through the university's contract with DHL.

Pre-press, Scanning and Proofing

Our pre-press department offers the latest in digital technology by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and software. You can take advantage of our scanning capabilities, CD burning, archiving, or our technical expertise.

We accept design files in all of the industry software standards, including: InDesign, Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, Pagemaker, and PDF. You can send us your files using zip, floppy disks, CDs, e-mails and files transferred electronically to our site.

Before any new job is sent to the pressroom, digital press, or high speed copying, customers can expect to review and sign-off on a proof of your job.

High Speed Copying

With two high speed black and white production devices producing over 300 pages per minute and a high speed color device producing over 80 pages per minute, Uniprint produces an unmatched quantity of quality copies. Uniprint's high speed copying services can achieve quick turnaround on almost any type of copying project.

Digital press

Uniprint harnesses digital technology to allow the university to create a new type of printed product. Our Nexpress 2100 gives offset quality for short run products. Another communications enhancement made possible by the digital press is Variable Data Printing (VDP). VDP provides the opportunity to build stronger customer relationships by creating more focused pieces that directly address the customer. And with versioning different layouts, palettes, visuals, graphics, and photgraphy can be used to talk to different segments of customers.

Wide Format B/W and Color Poster

With our Espon 9000 and 10000 along with a OCE 9400, we provide superior large-format reproductions of posters and banners.

Finishing and Binding

We have a complete collection of services to give your job the right finishing touches including:

• Folding (gate folds, tri-folds, etc.)

Addressing

Addressing services provides list management, wafer-sealing, inkjet names and addresses directly onto pieces, presorting, and delivery to campus mail or the United States Postal Service.

Course Packets

Uniprint offers full assistance to faculty at Ohio State in the preparation and development of their multiple source course materials.

We can take your originals and textbooks, get publisher permission, copyright costs, and prepare a course packet to your specifications.
