Deliver your items to the right customers at the right time. UniPrint’s addressing capabilities include single sheets, folded brochures, booklets and even catalogs.
Fast Facts and Useful Tips

- Excel or Comma Delimited Files are the preferred database format.

Address Certification
Before mailing, each address in your list is verified, corrected and standardized per the United States Postal Service’s standards — even those who have changed their address. UniPrint’s certification processes reduce your preparation time and limit the number of undeliverable pieces while also ensuring fast delivery and saving you money. We will even send you the revised list for your records.
Insertion
Stuffing, sealing and metering mailings are labor intensive, time consuming and costly. UniPrint’s automated insertion process makes it easier than ever. Any combination of return envelope, folded brochure, or single card — up to 4 pieces — can be inserted into a standard #10 business-size envelope. And envelopes are automatically sealed and metered with postage.

MUST BE ADDRESSED ON THE “CLOSED” PANEL
The United States Postal Service requires all folded self-mailers to be addressed on the “closed” panel. This requirement is illustrated above. Mailers that fail to meet this specification are subject to an additional surcharge per item.
Prior to printing, UniPrint will make every effort to identify folded self-mailers that do not meet this requirement, but is ultimately not responsible for delays or additional costs that are incurred for non-conforming items sent to the United States Postal Service.
Address placement and formatting requirements adopted by the US Postal Service® apply to First Class and Non-Profit Mail flat size pieces sent at automation, presorted or carrier route prices.
The address cannot read upside down and must be within top half of mailpiece. For enveloped or polywrapped pieces, the “top” of the mailpiece is either of the shorter edges. For pieces that are not enclosed in envelopes or polywrap, the “top” is the upper edge when the bound edge (or the final fold) is vertical and on the right side of the piece. Once the top edge is determined, measure halfway down the piece, and that’s the top half.
If you have any questions or concerns about mailing requirements or require an additional example, please contact a UniPrint customer service representative.
